Within wks of 2009, we are welcoming the year of cow in another day's time. time really flies! today was a tired but enjoyable day out. met village for dim sum this morning at hotel exclsoir - i missed last yr's cny celebration @ harbourfront. then went bt hse for mj - i won the 3 other players, lol - and at night, bbq farewell for jianting who will be going to shanghai in feb for his exchange programme. the fun part was the 7-up remix we played after bbq. instead of saying 'UP' for multiples of 7 and nos with 7, we say cny greetings such as "huat", "heng", "gong xi" etc. and best of all, linda teo came up with the "tei kou" which was later improvised to "ang tei kou" since anything red worn on cny is considered good luck. lols. never thot that 7-up can be this fun, of course not forgetting the punishment of drinking volka mixed with soft drinks.

rewind another day back and on fri while out in town with mel after work, we ran into so many familiar faces. come to think of it, we are always getting spotted by mutual frens/colleagues de lo. oh wells, come wed, i will face more "oh i know where u went on fri" looks liao. bring it on ba. lols.

time really flies. its 25th again. so far so good. just a short celebration tomorrow, since it coincides with cny eve when both of us needs to go home for reunion dinner.
