Yes, finally I've uploaded all the photos and here im bloggin about the trip after back 1+ wk.

First day, we touched down in Shanghai. Very cold. changed to warmer clothes in the toilet of Shanghai airport and off to take the maglev train. Sped down to a train station and hop onto our coach to head to oriental pearl. Shivered badly while our tour guide went to purchase the tickets. I was freezing. sticking close to each other does help a lil. haha.




Then went to the wax museum to see and understand how shanghai transform. The wax characters all look so real. it's actually quite scary.. esp this photo. if you notice, seemed like the guy on the left was staring at me hor.. eeks











Dinner was bad. but we were too famished on the first day to complain much. we had brunch on the airplane and no lunch was provided when it was stated in the itineary that it would be included. after dinner, the weather turned much colder. i was practically chanting out loud that im terribly warm, sorching hot, perspiring like mad etc, just to make myself a tiny wheeny bit warmer. the thot of leaving the bus to walk to the resturant or along the "orchard road" of shanghai sent cold chills down my spine. it was really vvvv cold on our first day and night there. packed kfc back for supper as dinner wasnt' full at all. Mj-ed on the first night too.





2nd day, we were still in shanghai and went to chenghuangmiao. While the rest of the tour mates went ard during the free and easy time, the foursome went to q for the famous xiao long bao. in the end, almost ended up late to meet up with the rest of the group. we packed and went off and ate in front of the rest of the tourmates, inviting envy glances, though we also asked some of them (the youngsters mainly) to try the xiao long bao. very nice and hot. just nice to warm our body.





then, we moved to suzhou or wuzhen. not very sure which one we went to. let the photos do the talking for this part. oh ya, i rmb it was also today then we went on our one and only one shopping trip along one of the streets in suzhou. so sad lo, and we were only given like 1.5 hours to shop. tsk. thats the prob going on with tour grp. less time shop, more time kanna axed. lols. at night, we stayed at suzhou and called for massage to our room. we heard v interesting stories about massage parlous in china and some interesting stories from our 2 massagers. in the end, linda and I gave a lil more than the price coz we truly enjoyed the session. mac for supper that night and no mj.







Day 3, in the morning, we went to suzhou silk factory. heard the same thing as what i heard in beijing. a no of us bought the silk blanket and mattress cover, and also the silk clothings/assessories. next, we went to wuzhen ba. since the photos seem to indicate so. Went to a water village, very pretty too. it's like a small town and the residents stay in these houses, yet they open up the town for tourist attraction. haha, realized we did a lot of jumping shots for this trip.









After wuzhen, we went to hangzhou. we love hangzhou. lols. actually i like suzhou and hangzhou more than shanghai. the latter too commercialized liao, like another singapore, though very much bigger. streets in all 3 cities are generally clean, surprisingly. and the toilets are not as bad as i thought. only problem is their smoking lar. they smoke everywhere pls. i got bad sorethroat coz of breathing in all these smoke.

at night, we went to see some performance. forced to go too. in the end, we made merry amongst ourselves to keep us awake. but i still dozed off countless times. hehe
we had cup noodles for supper and mjed whilst putting on mask. yes, even the only man in the grp put on mask with us too. super vain lo. lols.




Day 4 and we were still in hangzhou in the morning. went to west lake. omg, i love it there. beautiful scenery and of course lots of snapping away!

























then its 4 hours of bus ride back to shanghai. screamed at a boy on this day too. he totally kills all patience cells in me. i think he is no more than 5 years old, but he is damn naughty. i can just die if my boy will to grow up like him. choy, i have confidence in my genes pls. his parents have no control over him. he kicked at my chair all day long. 1st day, i alr kinda told eil bout it and she told me u shd just scolded the boy coz perhaps gettting scolded on ur 1st day of trip by a stranger, the boy may listened and stopped kicking. but i was thinking, give him a bit more chance, he's just a kid afterall, as the days go by, he sure will get tired and not kick anymore. who knows, by 4th day, still kicking. and from day 1 to day 4, his mom was very much aware that his son was giving me the utmost discomfort, but the most she said was "di, dun like that. you are disturbing jie jie". Full Stop. no more actions liao lo. goodness. she can jolly well asked her son to change seats with another son of her, who was sitting behind the problematic son. but she didnt. by day 4, everyone was exhausted and the long bus journey just nice serve as a good rest. plus i dint sleep well for the past 3 nights coz everynight changed hotel and i couldnt get used so i dint slp much. i terribly needed slp and i got so frustrated coz the problematic boy woke me up and i couldnt slp after that. so i turned around and scolded him loudly and angrily. so loud that other passengers got awakened by me and the tour guide, who was also slping, turned around to see what the commotion was. i dun give a damn, i was super pissed off then. and finally, the problematic son changed seats with his dad. but still, there were times he sat behind me. There was once best lo, after i scolded him, the driver kinda stepped very hardly on the brakes and so everyone moved fwd. then the problematic boy said loudly, " see its the uncle's fault hor. not i kick you". wah feel like giving him a tight slap lo. all 4 of us couldnt stand him. actually, many of us cant stand the family. they sat on a totally different table from all of us, coz they say they are vegetarian. but we saw them eating dumblings during breakfast and overheard the sons saying want to buy mac and kfc.


while back to shanghai, we went for foot massage and then crusie along the bund. very beautiful ye qing once again.










we embarked on our free and easy on the 5th day. went to ren ming guan zhang and an undergrd mall for shopping. and back to the "orchard rd" of shanghai and a bit of qi pu lu. had our 3 best meals in shanghai during the 5th day and thus concluded that the meals arranged and provided really sux lo. poor us. not a day of satisified meal except mayb supper ba. lols. mj-ed that night too. in the end, linda lost to bt while eil and I break even.




on the 6th day, we did some very last min shopping for sweets and bottled drinks at a supermarket oppo our hotel. in the end, we bought very good bargains of undergarments. haha, very cheap lo. discovered by yours truly. in the end, all of us bought at least 1 packet each for ourselves and for our families. Then its to the airpot for home sweet home.











All of us made a new fren in the trip, sean. he is the youngest in his family and he has 3 sisters. he is only 11 while his oldest sister is 22. kinda like my family. seeing him reminds me of honey. =)




To worm, thanks for the care and concern given to me in the trip. Though you get v fan-ing sometimes with your constant naggings and to the extent of feeling like ignoring you, but you are a great travel companion, like you know i will surely need extra plastic bags. haha. but pls listen to what the tour guide has to say though and stop putting your stuffs all over our bags!!!




To linda, very thank you for taking care of me throughout the trip. thank you for ensuring that im still walking beside you and not lost in the crowd. thank you for waiting for me in case i got left behind. thank you for trying to wager prices for me. thank you for sponsoring me with lots of things such as hand cream, face cream, handiplast, jumback, perfume, hair cream/vitamin etc though i also brought mine along. you are also a great travel companion. thanks da, love ya!! :D



To bt, though you always say "you think i care", but still thank you for being one of the foursome. thank you for taking care of eil such that her complains are kept to minimum (lols), thank you for lending us money when we were super broke (since he's the most cash loaded among us), thank you for carrying my new luggage around - it can be heavy and le chey to carry it ard. oh yes, and thank you for fighting with linda now and then as these are entertaining to eil and I, lols. but, i think u still need to brush up a lot on your camera skills - hope to see a drastic improvement by our next trip.
