Sadly, the movies i have watched since the start of the new year has been one word - disappointing. First was the movie called The Darleejing Limited, followed by National Treasure (ok i know this doesnt really count since its a dec 2007 movie) & lastly Cloverfield.

National Treasure is the ultimate disppoint-er.I rmb watching the first serial with wormie years ago (i rmb it was on New Year Day). National Treasure part II wasnt even half great as the first part. The action is there and all, but the clues are like so simple, that the characters dint made any mistakes. its too simple lar, i mean i was expecting exciting plot but instead, it kind of gets boring and monotonous lo.

The Darleejing Limited is the most tortourous movie. Why? It was indeed a torture to sit through the 1.5 hours of screening time. It was a free movie, i mean i dint pay to watch. Obviously this kind of movie will not be in my must-watch list, in fact, i wouldnt choose such it if it was given free. So why did i watch? coz it was a movie outing for some of us (i mean pple from work) by our parent ministry. majority chose that (we have synopsis back then when we're choosing between Dan in real life and that) and so there most of us are, expecting a good show. Im trying to find a good thing to say bout that movie, but sorry, i cant. Its really really really BAD.

Caught cloverfield last night at hub. sorry ladies for choosing that show. well, it wasnt easy to choose a movie when everyone has no preference because it has been quite some time since a couple of us have watched movie. And the poster of that movie looked great - i mean the statue of liberty has her head off and it just seemed chaotic. but i guess the tagline - the monster...... gives the movie away. we went in expecting monster invading NYC. and true enough it did. but what we dint expect was that the whole film was filmed with one of the characters filming the whole evasion with a video camera. Even when he was running for his life, he was still using that stupid damn video camera and you can imagine how shaky the scenes were. End result, we got giddy and nauseous. ma chiam sitting on a roller coaster. the ending was lame and stupid. If you want to ask bout the fate of the unknown monster (we did not get a clear look on that monster coz the whole time, as i was saying, the scenes were shaky and blurry), well, no one in the movie theatre knew. I guess after this feedback, no one will want to watch that movie - so well, i shall reveal the ending - the movie did not end with the death of the stupid monster, but instead, it ended coz all the characters die in the movie. The last 2 to die were crushed to death by the fight between the monster and the us army force. and that also explained the fate of the again-damn video camera. and well, thats the ending. very the-duh right. mainey told me i huh very loudly in the cinema. pple behind us, not surprisingly, exclaimed wtf.

i think the next movie i watch will be a blockbuster. will be given full ratings.

anw, im gg for the jay concert with qiuyun tonight. The Concert of 2008. hehe. long story short, I was supposed to go with wormie but in the end, something terrible cropped up (nothing to do with us but the person who we shd be getting the tickets from) and the 2 of us have all the reasons in the world to curse that person. well, poor worm has to forgo the concert at that stupid person expense.

sent the ladies home after movie yesterday and i did something bad. haha, sr and maine will know. better not pen it down, if not..... oh and i saw the papers saying that today and tomorrow at causeway pt there are tvb stars coming, for starhub hphone roadshow. and most of them are the stars whom i like. like she shi man and turtle head. haha.

Took some photos with doreen and gang some days back. shall post in the next entry.
