Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....
2:22 PM No snowing at tuscon. Wanted to go skiing at mount lemount this morning but we woke up too late. And mom kept worrrying on how we are going to finish packing the stuffs we have now... haha.. its 7 degrees here in tuscon.... let the photos tell the story.. ***** bro's army base - place whr he works.  his room. qutie tidy, minus our bags on his bed.. haha... bro's walk in wardrobe. his wall. got felicia chin's photo lo. he says he likes her. pls!!!! the staircase leading to his room.  in bro's car. taken with the american flag. these are actually cactus. funny shapes right.  look at these plants. they are like the icons of tuscon. very weird looking vegetation hor. kinda scary in fact. there are many mountains surrounding my bro's house at tuscon, arizona. There are also many houses on the foot of this range of mountain. what a clear and scenic view of hoover dam. this pic was taken on the car from vegas to tuscon. it look so scenic and peaceful (the water is not moving at all) that it really does looks like a picture instead of the real thing!  Here in tuscon. my bro drove his car in arizona. a lexus. cool shit can. look at the car roof.. open-window-style This is a wonderful invention. GPS. We rely a lot on this. Very clever machine too. You just need to type in where you want to go, and the GPS will guide you. cost my bro usd300 for this portable thingy. clear blue sky. so clear that during the day, its hard to find a shade from the sun. There is still sun in the day, though the temperatures are low.  Heaps of mountains along the way windmills along the way to vegas. The ride from SF to vegas is super duper long. Bro drove a total of 9 hours lo. Definitely not easy! Another sunset picture. So clear that it looks like a drawing See the curve? It was only 4+ that day but coz of the winter season, the sky starts to darken v early. It kinda puts me off coz you get really dark skies when its only 5pm! and i mean the kind of darkness we usually see in singapore when it's 11 or close to 12! During the stay in SF, i keep suspecting that SF is actually a hill. coz many parts of SF houses, blgds etc are located upslope. and the way the SF-ians park their cars are totally different too. On steeper slopes, the cars are packed sideways, coz there's no way of packing straight, lest the cars start rolling backwards/forewards.  Lombard street in SF. awarded as the crookiest street in the world.  shenton way look-alike in SF   casino-ified lobby see the hotel rooms? They are stacked upwards like that of a pyramid. quite an interesting concept hur. I heard that one side of the hotel has slanted lifts but no idea where it was hidden in.
