so here im, reached home washed up and while waiting for the hair to dry, decided to post an entry up here.

Today was a busy day. met up with doreen emelia and huiping for BK breakfast at compass point. the main purpose is to discuss law. but for the 3 hours, much of the time was spent talking and chatting everything under the sun, but not law. haha. that's us lar. but it's so enjoyable that none of us seems to mind not discussing any law. we still did come back to law topics once a while. the paper is 2 days away but seems like no one wants to have more of it anymore.

then, rushed home to prepare to meet ruiling. went city hall with her to meet up with the rest for her bdae celebration. the labour-day-born lady instructed me to wear dress, to accompany her. we had early dinner at a mixture resturant along citylink mall. i gave the name mixture becoz there is japanese, western and chinese crusines all in one place. from the outside, i thot it's a jap resturant but how wrong i was. it's like rojak lo, everything in one place.

dinner was nice. the food is nice and yummy but the portion is small, according to the other 5 of them. huiwen even commented she has to go for second round. haha. me, on the other hand, think the portion is just right. not a bad place, at least in my opinion, this resturant is better than the hongkong cafe at ms.

after dinner, we began our long walk. went arcade for games. played a lot more games than i usually did. got one game me and huixian played till our hands are damn suan. it's those shooting and fighting off enemies de. but the enemies are slimy creatures, big hairy spiders etc. it's not cheap lo, each of us pay $2 for the game. we also play daytona. and the bdae girl came in last. she was at least one round behind us and even 2 rounds behind huiwen lar. haha. lousy driver! ^^ but i guess the best game we played was the musical game. actually the game is to be single-played lar. u have to see the notes and then hit the correct button. but the problem is there are too mnay buttons liao! so end up, all 6 of us each take a part and play the game. it costs only $0.50 per game lo. it's fun coz everyone gets to play and u noe, teamwork =)

bored with arcade, we decided to go bowling, which is just nxt to the arcade at ms. in the end, gave bowling and billard a miss coz either too packed or the rates are too high. the pool charges almost $10 for just an hour. i dun rmb it being so expensive leh. sadly, no movies too and so we walked from ms all the way to raffles place mrt tcc, only to realize that the place is also full. we were dead tired to continue walking down to coffeebean so we settled for mac's.. sat and talked for the time till 12, before the star of the night appeared with the cake for ruiling.

it was a nice and sweet bdae for her. haha. the pictures will take ages to come though. i'll be leaving for my trip this coming friday and be back only on the 12th, and then ruiling will leave for hers on the 14th-21st and yanbing going her tw trip on the 22nd-28th! wun be seeing them for the whole of may i guess but we have set aside 1st june for the nxt meetup. =))
